That is a challenging question. I see value in both, actually. Passion for something is an admirable trait in my opinion, but I think it can cause a lot of problems in the world, too.
Yeah, I know- haha. I guess I was just curious if anyone would answer one way or the other. I am definitely more of a "feel very strongly" type person- and I find it quite exhausting at times. But at the end of the day, if I had to choose between the two, I guess I would rather be a "feel very strongly" person than a "not give a shit" person. Although I'm fairly convinced that being this way will knock a good 10 years of my life. I'm just not very good with middle ground.
I myself have taken a very "leaf in the stream" approach to life. There are some things I feel strongly about, but more that I don't really give a shit about.
Hahaha... don't mistake my philosophy as keeping me free from problems or allowing me to achieve "perfection" of some sort. I think a starting point for me was when I was 19 I learned about the Church of the Subgenius. Other than that, I'm not a worthwhile teacher.
