Jungle Fever

Jungle Fever.... I'm sorry, but it's probably not accurate to continue to call it a “fever” if it lasts for decades.... (and yes, I just said decades). And the more I think about it, saying “jungle fever” is probably no longer a politically correct thing to say- but gosh, it's hard to be politically correct all the time (although I do try). No, I am not trying to be controversial... No I am not trying to “rebel” (which, by the way is one the funniest thing that my parents ever asked me)... No, I'm not trying to be different.... No, I'm not just “experimenting".... No, I'm not trying to shock you (although at this point in life, I'm surprised you would be shocked over something like that).... No, I was not sucked into some “gang”, nor am I attracted to “gang members”... (I know you might find this quite shocking- but not all black men are gang members)... No, I am not trying to piss you off... and why would you be pissed off about that anyways? I don't get it. NO- I have no plans of changing. It is what it is. So please, just get over it.
